How to Register to Vote in Rochester and Rochester Hills

In honor of National Voter Registration Day, we're giving you all the info you need on how and where to register to vote.

If you haven’t yet registered to vote, get it off your to-do list now.

Tuesday is the last day to register to vote for the Nov. 6 election. You can register at Rochester or Rochester Hills city offices, any Secretary of State office or by mail. In order to vote, you must:

  • be 18 years or older on or before election day
  • be a citizen of the U.S.
  • have lived in Michigan for at least 30 days
  • be registered on or before the close of registration
