Downtown Yard Sale

You can take a piece of Main Street home with you at the Downtown Rochester Yard Sale on Aug. 17 & 18. The sale will include all items removed from Main Street as a part of the Makeover, including fire hydrants, traffic signals, railroad tie remnants, lightpoles, Main Street bricks and much more.

“The Main Street Makeover has provided a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our community” stated Kristi Trevarrow,Executive Director of the Rochester DDA. “We are so pleased that we are able provide our residents a chance toown a piece of Rochester’s history.”

Want first choice? Join us for the Pre-Sale Event on Friday, Aug. 17 from 6-8 pm. Tickets are $10 per car and proceeds benefit The Big, Bright Light Show. Tickets can be purchased at the DDA Office. The sale will be open to the general public on Saturday, Aug. 18 from 8 a.m. – Noon.

All items will be available for purchase both days on afirst-come, first-serve basis. The sale will be held at the Municipal Training Center, off Letica Drive.

Follow the bright yellow signs throughout downtown.
Large quantities of the Main Street Bricks and Sidewalk Pavers are available.
