Video Shows Suspects in Rochester Hills Theft From Vehicle
The Oakland Country Sheriff's Office released photos from an outdoor video surveillance system on Castlebar Drive.
On Oct. 15 Oakland County Sheriff deputies were dispatched to the 500 block of Castlebar Drive for a reported larceny from a vehicle. In the report it was stated that a GPS unit was removed from the center console of the vehicle in the early morning hours, according to a news release.
The homeowners told deputies they have an outside video surveillance system that was turned on the night of the theft. The video shows two subjects walking up the driveway towards a vehicle that was left unlocked out of camera range. A short time later the two subjects are seen walking back down the driveway. One of the subjects had an object in his hand, the report stated.
The two men are described in the report as about 20-to-25 years, about 5-foot-9-inches to 6-feet tall; they were wearing light-colored hooded sweatshirts. One of the subjects appeared to have darker hair, which could be seen under his hood.
