Shelby Township Man Arrested After Starting Fights in Rochester Bar

Rochester Police were dispatched Jan. 15 to a business at the 400 block of Main Street in Rochester for a report of a disorderly person.

According to the department, when officers arrived, bar staff told police a very drunk man was trying to start fights with other patrons and was refusing to leave. The officers ordered the man, a 30-year-old Shelby Township resident, to leave the bar, but he refused. Police subsequently arrested the man for trespassing and disorderly conduct.
