Woman reports fraudulent Comcast account that used her name, Social Security number.

Rochester Police took a report June 25 from a woman reporting possible identity theft, according to a police report.

The woman told police she had lived with her mother in Rochester Hills for the past two years since moving back home from Chicago and did not have a current Comcast account. The woman told police Comcast indicated someone had used her Social Security number and name to open an account in Detroit on Nov. 11, 2012, and continued through June 18, 2013 when it was disconnected.
