Rochester Police Searching for Missing Senior
Rochester police are looking for a 70-year-old Rochester man last seen Friday morning.
The Rochester Police Department is searching for a missing 70-year-old man.
George Vanderweit was last seen about 9:20 a.m. Friday in the area of Runyon and Dequindre.
He is a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 178 pounds and was last seen wearing a red shirt with the word "BARGAINS" written on it and olive green shorts, the police report.
Vanderweit may be riding an older green bicycle, and has no wallet, cell phone or identification.
According to a police press release, he was recently discharged from a mental health facility and is considered to be a danger to himself.
Anyone who may have seen Vanderweit, or know of his location, is asked to call Rochester Police at (248) 651-9621.
