Rochester Office Worker Accused of Trying to Blackmail Man Over Affair

FBI alleges woman tried to extort $250,000 from man.

Federal authorities say a 33-year-old former model who had been working at a Rochester real estate office tried to extort $100,000 from a wealthy businessman by threatening to give his wife damaging information about their relationship, according to an AP report.

According to the report, the FBI indicated its agents saw Mirella Dzioba of Macomb Township accept an envelope with $4,800 from the man outside the Rochester real estate office where she was a clerical worker. She was charged this month with using a phone in racketeering, the report indicated, and is free on a $10,000 personal bond.

The website thesmokinggun.com first reported the incident, reporting Dzioba reportedly sought to extort $250,000 from the 61-year-old man.
