Reckless Driving Complaint Leads to Marijuana, Alcohol Charges

18-year-old Lansing resident cited on marijuana, alcohol charge on Tulberry Circle in Rochester.

Rochester Police responded July 27 to the 1300 block of Tulberry Circle for a report of two vehicles driving recklessly in the area, according to a police report.

According to the report, officers located one of the vehicles parked near a set of long skid marks on the pavement and made contact with the vehicle occupants. The people in the vehicle told police the other car had just left the scene.

After further investigation, police located alcohol and a substance believed to be marijuana from the vehicle, which an 18-year-old Lansing resident said was his. He was cited by the officers on charges of marijuana possession and being a minor in possession of alcohol.

Graffiti reported on Second Street

The owner of a building on the 400 block of Second Street reported to Rochester Police on July 25 that someone had painted graffiti on the building between July 20 and 21, according to a police report.

According to the report, someone had painted "ERLi!" on a concrete wall in blue paint. There have been no arrests in this incident.
