Police: Rochester Hills Man Starts, Loses Fight at White Castle in Troy

The 35-year-old man, who police say instigated the fight, was transported to an area hospital with a minor head injury.

Troy Police officers responded to the parking lot of White Castle on John R Road in Troy after receiving a report of a fight there just after 2 a.m. on Sunday.

According to a media release from the Troy Police Department, the fight was over before officers arrived on the scene, though one man, a 35-year-old Rochester Hills resident, sustained a minor head injury in the fight.

Officers conducted an investigation, which revealed that two men, including the injured man, had approached two other men inside the restaurant and attempted to instigate a fight, according to the report. The four men went outside, where a fight ensued.

The injured man, who was transported to an area hospital, refused to cooperate with Troy officers during an interview, and it appears alcohol is a factor in the incident, according to the report.
