Intoxicated Pedestrian Struck by Car in Rochester Hills

A Rochester Hills man was struck by the car after he was walking intoxicated and ran into the roadway near the Walton-Brewster intersection Tuesday.

A 38-year-old Rochester Hills man was hit by a vehicle near the intersection of Walton and Brewster early Tuesday morning — a day after he was found walking on M-59 while intoxicated, police say.

According to an report, the man "ran into the roadway" near the Walton-Brewster intersection and was struck by a vehicle around 3:15 a.m. The driver of the vehicle reported the incident to sheriff's deputies, who learned that the man made his way to the to get treated for his injuries. Later, the man was identified as the same person who was transported to Crittenton Hospital on Monday afternoon after he was found, intoxicated, walking on M-59.
