Man Arrested After Repeated Disturbance Complaints

Rochester Police were dispatched late on Sept. 26 to the 500 block of E. University for a report of a man pounding on the door of a residence, refusing to stop when asked to leave, according to the department.

According to police, officers arrived at the residence and spoke with a person at the residence who said a man, whom they knew, was repeatedly pounding on the door of the home. Officers made contact with the man and he was threatened with arrest if he did not stop. According to police, the man agreed to leave. 

About 45 minutes later, however, Rochester Police were dispatched back to the same residence for a report of the same man repeatedly pounding on the door.

Police arrested the man on a charge of disorderly conduct.
