Man Arrested After Property Damaged at Downtown Bar

Rochester Police were dispatched Sept. 27 to Gus O'Connor's, 324 S. Main in Rochester, for a report of a man damaging property inside the bar, according to police.

The man reportedly fled the scene on East Fourth with no shirt, blue jeans and glasses, according to police. Officers located a 24-year-old Rochester man matching the description, according to police. The man told officers he had just left the bar and on the way out he had damaged the property in question.

The officers arrested the man on a charge of malicious destruction of property.

Break-in reported with equipment trailer

Rochester Police were dispatched Sept. 23 to the 100 block of South Street for a larceny complaint, according to police.

A man at the location told police the equipment trailer was broken into and property was taken. The incident remains under investigation.
