Man Arrested After Break-In Reported at Rochester Hills Home

A 23-year-old Rochester Hills man was arrested early Saturday after reportedly breaking into a home at the 1400 block of Clovelly in Rochester Hills.

According to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the home for a report of a man looking into the window of the home before entering through a sliding glass door. According to the department, the homeowner's son-in-law and daughter chased after the man armed with a .357 revolver. 

According to the department, deputies arrived and saw the man had been detained by the homeowner and his family. The department indicated the man had been intoxicated and possibly entered the home by mistake. The man was not forthcoming in providing his identity to deputies and was not cooperative, according to the department. He was taken to Oakland County Jail pending arraignment.
