Fire hydrants are an essential part of the Fire Department being able to effectively extinguish a fire. Not to mention the benefit the fire hydrant provides to the safety of your family and our firefighters.
Rochester Hills Fire Department's Chief Crowell asks, "If you have a hydrant in your yard, please keep it clear of snow three feet around and a path to the road for safe and quick access."
