Hookah, Gunshots and Bottles Thrown at Rochester Hills Hookah Lounge

Shots were fired after a fight broke out Sunday morning at a local hookah lounge.

Two men were arrested and one man was injured after a fight broke out at Ignite Hookah Lounge in Rochester Hills on Sunday.

Deputies descended on the scene after they received reports of gunfire, and customers fled the scene at about 2 a.m., according to an Oakland County Sheriff’s Office press release.

Although victims refused medical attention, a 911 call indicated that a Rochester Hills man was being treated for a laceration to the head from a flying bottle.

A Pontiac man, 27, was arrested for a concealed weapons violation and possession of marijuana, along with a 23-year-old man, also of Pontiac, with an outstanding warrant, The Oakland Press reported.

The Oakland Press reported that sheriffs found two handguns and multiple shell casings at the lounge.

A gun belonging to the owner of the establishment was found on the scene, along with a second handgun used by a customer involved in the altercation, the sheriff’s office reported.

Oakland County Undersheriff Mike McCabe hasn’t been notified of any gunshot victims and said the details surrounding Sunday’s events are vague.

Authorities are still investigating the incident.
