Home Invasion, Jewelry Theft Reported in Rochester Hills

Someone broke into a Clemens Circle home through a bedroom window, police say.

A Clemens Circle resident told police someone broke into his home through a bedroom window on Wednesday and stole $4,500 in jewelry from a lock box.

According to a report filed with the , the 46-year-old victim found his bedroom window open and the lock box tampered with. Nothing else in the home had been disturbed, and there were no marks on the window or on the box that indicated forced entry, the report stated. 

The incident occurred in the 1700 block of Clemens, near Dequindre Road and M-59 in Rochester Hills.
