4 Escape Early Morning Rochester Hills House Fire

The blaze was under control in about 20 minutes.

No one was injured early Sunday morning in a house fire near M-59 and Livernois in Rochester Hills.

At 2:15 a.m. firefighters from three Rochester Hills fire stations responded to a house fire on the 2700 block of Simpson Road, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office and Rochester Hills Fire Chief Ron Crowell.

The firefighters brought the fire under control in about 20 minutes, and the four people inside the house escaped safely, Crowell said.

The fire was discovered in the front bedroom interior of the home, according to a sheriff's office report. 

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
