Firefighters Respond to House Blaze in Rochester Hills

responded on Saturday night to a house fire on Hickory Leaf Drive in Rochester Hills.

No one was injured; the home's occupants heard the smoke alarm and were able to safely exit the home, said Rochester Hills Fire Chief Ron Crowell.

"When we arrived the fire was already burning through the back of the house," Crowell said. "Fire crews were on the scene for about six hours extinguishing the fire."

Hickory Leaf Drive is south of Hamlin Road and west of Livernois Road.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, Crowell said.
