Driving in Wrong Lane Leads to Drug Arrest

Police arrested a driver going the wrong way after it was determined the driver was under the influence—and in possession—of drugs, according to the department. 

Rochester Police were on patrol Dec. 4 at University and Main in downtown Rochester when they noticed a silver sedan driving in the wrong lane of traffic. Police stopped the driver, a 17-year-old Shelby Township resident, who was found to be under the influence of drugs. 

Police arrested the driver, who was later found to be in possession of marijuana, according to the department.
