Dad Saves Sons from Fast Moving Clinton River

Two Rochester Hills youths are alive thanks to the quick action by their father Sunday

The boys, ages 9 and 11, were wading near the shore of the Clinton River when they were swept away by the swift current of the river, The Oakland Press reports.

Their father, 40, went in after them and saved the boys, neither of whom could swim before

Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Marine Division deputies and the Rochester HIlls fire paramedics arrived.

The boys were assessed and released to their parents after they were transported ot the Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital for assessment.
