Crime Blotter: Dog Bites Woman; Police Looking for Tricycle's Owner

Dog bites woman; owner cited
A 67-year-old Rochester woman out for a walk on Wyngate Street Wednesday evening sustained several puncture wounds after a small black dog bit her on her leg, according to police reports. The small black dog was also accompanied by a small grey dog, who also barked at the woman.
Rochester Police officers contacted the dogs' owner, who was issued a citation for unlicensed dog and failure to maintain reasonable control of her dog, according to the report.
Tricycle found near Dinosaur Hill
A Rochester Police officer recovered a tricycle from a staff member Wednesday afternoon. The staff member found the tricycle in a wooded area just off the footpath at the park.

Laptop stolen from unlocked vehicle
On Monday, a Rochester resident reported his laptop stolen from his unlocked vehicle on Werth Street, according to police reports. The laptop was taken from the vehicle during the night; there were no witnesses.
