Break-In Reported at Sweet Island Yogurt in Rochester

2 cash drawers, safe reported stolen at frozen yogurt shop.

Rochester Police responded at about 9:56 a.m. on Sept. 2 to Sweet Island Yogurt, 402 Main St. in Rochester, for a report of a breaking and entering at the business, according to the department.

The manager at the business told police she had locked the business for the night at 10:30 p.m. on on Sept. 1 and when she returned the following morning to open the business, she saw the entry door facing the rear of the building had been pried open, the department indicated. According to the department, someone had used a prying device on the door lock and, once inside, took a safe and two cash register drawers.
