Break-In Reported at Apartment Storage Unit and More Rochester Crimes

The following crimes were reported in Rochester during the past week.

Break-in reported at apartment storage unit

Rochester Police were dispatched Sunday to the 1100 block of Ironwood Court for a report of breaking and entering, according to a police report. A person living at the residence told police someone had broken into the storage unit in the basement of her apartment complex, taking several items, the report indicated. The incident remains under investigation.

Assault reported in Rochester

Rochester Police responded Monday to the 1000 block of Rivermist for a report of a domestic assault, according to a police report. Officers determined an assault had taken place and a person was arrested on an assault charge. The incident remains under investigation.

Driver arrested on suspended license charge

Rochester Police were on patrol Sunday in the area of Woodward and Wilcox when an officer saw a Ford Ranger pickup drive erratically, according to a police report. The officer stopped the driver, a 19-year-old Rochester man, who was found to be driving on a suspended license, the report indicated. Police arrested the man on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

Bike reported stolen 

Rochester Police responded Aug. 17 to the 1000 block of Ironwood Court for a report of a stolen bicycle, according to a police report. The bicycle owner told police their bike was taken from beneath a carport at the residence, the report indicated. The bike is described as a black specialized Hard Rock mountain bike with red and white trim. Anyone with information on the missing bicycle is asked to contact Rochester Police Lt.
