Another Sheep Gone Missing From Rochester's Ewe Revue

There are no suspects in the disappearance of this public art piece.

The Rochester Lion King, a fiberglass sheep that's part of a public art show in downtown Rochester, is missing.

According to Chief Steve Schettenhelm, the took a report Tuesday afternoon about the missing statue, which was stolen from its spot in front of the on Main Street.

The sheep and its base were stolen, and the value is set at more than $1,100, Schettenhelm said.

The Rochester Lion King is part of the in Rochester. A collection of movie-themed sheep are scattered across downtown. This one was sponsored and designed by the Rochester Lions Club.

Last week, another sheep, "Steve Hanson from Sheep Shot," was recovered after being missing for two months. The hockey-playing sheep was found after its thief , according to police.

There are no suspects in the theft of the Rochester Lion King.
