Two people were in critical condition Wednesday after a vehicle that Oakland County Sheriff's officials say involved seven vehicles.
The accident occurred at about 12:41 p.m. at Hamlin and Rochester roads, in front of Bordine's.
According to Sheriff's officials late Wednesday, four people in total were hospitalized, with two released earlier in the afternoon. Two victims, who were unresponsive at the scene, remain in critical condition, with one reportedly at McLaren in Pontiac and one at Beaumont in Royal Oak, according to department officials.
The accident remains under investigation and Sheriff's officials say more information will be released Thursday.
