2,000 Pain Pills Stolen From Rochester Hills Pharmacy

Video footage shows the thieves using a crowbar to pry open the door of a medical center building.

Detectives on Monday planned to review surveillance video from a weekend pharmacy break-in at a medical building in Rochester Hills.

The incident happened at the , on the corner of South Boulevard and Dequindre, across from Troy's Beaumont Hospital. 

According to a report from the , an employee of the building discovered the break-in on Saturday morning. When sheriff's deputies arrived on the scene, they found the door to the pharmacy had been pried open; pharmacy employees later guessed about 2,000 Hydrocodone and Tylenol pills were stolen, the report stated.

A surveillance video for the building shows two subjects prying the front door to the building with a crowbar, then running toward the pharmacy. The suspects were wearing hoodies. 

The pharmacy has a separate surveillance video, which will be reviewed by detectives on Monday.
