McMillin brings Hate Extremist to our Area

On Wednesday March 5, 2014, our State Representative, Tom McMillin, invited a known hate extremist, David Barton, to be his guest speaker at his fundraiser.  Barton is on the Southern Poverty Law Center's Top 100 hate extremist watch list along with other extremists such a Klu Klux Klan members, neo-nazis and white supremacists.

Barton's recent book, The Jefferson Lies, was just pulled by his Christian publisher because it contained "too many whoppers" another word for lies and distortions.

A group of local citizens braved the extreme cold to protest his event.  The group contained youth group leaders, PTA members, small business owners, teenagers and senior citizens.  They were Republican, Democratic and Independent voters.

It is time for we tax payers to say "Enough is Enough" to Tom McMillin.  We are a community of moderates and his extremist views do not represent the views of the majority in his district.
