Tienken Road Condition

Potholes on Tienken Road

Does anyone know when the city/county/state (I don’t know who owns the road) fills in the potholes on Tienken Road, just east of the intersection with Adams Road? As of yesterday, nothing had been done! The potholes multiply and get larger and deeper by the day. In some places they are spread across the road, there is no way to avoid them. What is the hold up?

Scot, I wish your plan was their plan. I foresee the roundabout, shaved down hill, removal of homes and businesses west of Rochester Road and the removal of all the trees east of Tienken with a new road and sidewalks at the door steps of those on the south side in the coming future. They are still following the old mantra of bigger roads for more cars. After it is all said and done future generations might look back and wonder why they did what they did.

I hope the new roundabout at Livernois & Tienken isn't as confusing and dangerous as the one at Livernois & Hamlin. At that one you take your life in your hands. I travel Maple Rd.and their are roundabouts at Drake and Farmington Rds. and neither are as bad as the Hamlin one.
