Robotics Teams Win Rochester Hometown Christmas Parade Awards

Robotics teams from three area high schools—Rochester High School, Adams High School and Notre Dame Prep—joined forces and created a robotics float for the Dec. 9 Rochester Hometown Christmas Parade.

The parade theme was “A Caribbean Christmas” and their robot pirate ship float won first place in the High School/College category as well as the Grand Marshal’s Award. The Grand Marshals of the parade, John and Mary Modetz, bestowed the award to the robotics float, while praising the three high schools.
