Moon River Soap Company washed out the competition Monday in downtown Rochester's Christmas Tree Challenge, a competition between businesses to decorate storefronts with creative holiday trees and decor.
The local soapmaker earned top prize for its "Moon Dog" display, named after the company's pet-friendly products.
The winners were announced Monday at Lagniappe, which kicked off this year's Big, Bright Light Show in downtown Rochester.
The Funky Frog Children's Resale Boutique earned second prize and @Home Furniture earned third place.
