Would you like to learn some of what goes on behind the scenes in politics?  Then come and join us for an evening with Mr. John Truscott, former Michigan Governor John Engler's Director of Communications and Press Secretary. When Engler took office, Mr. Truscott was the youngest press secretary in the country and became the longest serving press secretary for any governor.  He was the primary contact from the governor’s office to the media in Michigan and throughout the country.  He was also responsible for developing communication strategies for the Engler administration, wrote speeches, press releases and developed collateral material.

Since 2001, John Truscott has been President of the John Truscott Group, a leading public relations and issue management firm based in Lansing, Michigan.  While the firm works in many different policy areas, they specialize in health care reform legislation, tort reform measures, and new technologies for wind energy.

Be sure to set the third Thursday of each month aside to join like minded conservatives in stimulating discussion, social networking and refreshments.
