Assistance League Groupon Campaign

The Wee Help campaign will be available on the Detroit Groupon Grassroots page beginning on Monday, August 13 and running through Sunday, August 19. Utilizing Groupon Grassroots’ collective action model, Groupon subscribers can pledge support for the Wee Help initiative in increments of $10, with each $450 providing infant layette kits including a receiving blanket, a sleeper, a “onsie,” a bottle, pacifier, diapers, a bib, and a handmade hat to 40 indigent mothers.

“We are excited to employ the collective action model of Groupon Grassroots to raise support for Wee Help,” said Sue Dobbelstein, President of the local chapter of Assistance League. “We look forward to creating new awareness for Assistance League as one of the local organizations in the Detroit area to be featured on Groupon Grassroots.”
