Women's Fund First Annual Summer House Party

The Women’s Fund of the Community Foundation Greater Rochester, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to nurturing programs addressing the unmet needs of women, announces a summer fundraiser scheduled for August 7th beginning at 5:30p.m. The first annual Summer House Party is a tour of one of Rochester Hill’s treasures located at 1481 Dutton.  Pamela Mitzelfeld welcomes guests to share an evening at her registered historic home and registered centennial farm property. There is a $100 tax deductible donation to attend this event, with all proceeds to support the Women’s Fund 2014. To make your reservations please make your $100 check payable to: The Women’s Fund and send to P.O. Box 80157 Rochester, MI 48308-0157.

The Summer House Party will raise funds to support the Women’s Fund 2014 initiative “Empowering Women in Need with Job Seeking / Job Keeping Skills.”  This grant will focus on adult women who benefit by developing employable skills and obtaining jobs.  The Women’s Fund encourages local nonprofit grant applicants to develop a program that features sustainability, employable skills and employment opportunities.  The grant application deadline is October 24, 2014.

The Women’s Fund is a partnership of donors, grantees and volunteers working to support programs for women. The Women’s Fund is a permanently endowed fund owned and administered by the Community Foundation of Greater Rochester.
