Tin Whistle Concert

November 10, 2012

The Tin Whistle concert is Paint Creek’s annual fund-raiser:

Saturday, November 10, 2012

This is our 41st concert, and we’ve snagged a couple great headliners this year:

Stella!

American roots band from Michigan; singer-songwriter super group with three-part vocal harmonies.  Songwriter Jo Serrapere, blues powerhouse Jen Sygit, and Gospel songstress Laura Ann Bates.

Jan and Jim

Jan Krist and Jim Bizer’s intricately layered instrumental parts and stunning vocal harmonies soar.  At the heart is the profound respect and playful interaction they bring to each other’s songs, the spark of two remarkable artists working and playing together.

With a Paint Creek Sampler, Featuring

Mandolin Sojourn

Local artists Jack Erickson, Phyllis Isabel and Marty Buchanan play a amazing range of styles, from popular to folksy, and from classical to country-western.

Vikki Appleton

All the way from England! Vikki brings with her the tradition of English Pub Singing and presents it with her trademark infectious energy and enthusiasm.

Hugo... the road, bridge, road right of way: The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC)... theRead More aesthetic black fence... Rochester Hills... let's assume there waiting for an insurance claim to go through or debating who pays. Thanks for your post. You could call the Mayor, but he is in Istanbul Turkey... looking over some plans for a new shopping mall they want to build in an historic park. Makes perfectly good sense this is the same Mayor who supported tearing down a historic house on Rochester Road to build a new strip mall... and turning Office Research Technology zoning into a Wal-Mart.

Yes I have been wondering too...I am going to use the RCOC website and see if they will respond
