Nutrition 101: The Basics of Healthy Eating

Learn the basics of healthy eating from Anne Baker, a Certified Nutritionist, on Thursday, January 17 at 7 p.m. at the Rochester Hills Public Library. Baker will discuss why most of what you have been made to believe about healthy foods is incorrect and what you should really be eating to support your health. Do you think eggs are evil and believe fat free dairy is the healthiest? Are you convinced you must have whole grains to satisfy your carbohydrate intake? Are you confused by all the conflicting information you hear in the media about what’s healthy to eat? This class cuts through the hype and clutter so you can make informed choices.

Registration is required and open to those with a Rochester Hills Public library card. To register, go to http://calendar.rhpl.org or call 248-656-2900. The Rochester Hills Public Library is located in downtown Rochester two blocks east of Main Street off of University Drive on Olde Towne Road. For more information, please call 248-650-7124.
