Getting to Know Your Groceries

Find out which grocery items are the healthiest and tastiest to have in your kitchen, how to choose them, and how to use them on Thursday, February 21 at 7 p.m. at the Rochester Hills Public Library. Cooking instructor, culinary speaker, recipe developer, and food writer Lisa Howard will help you understand where to find delicious, healthy ingredients, why those ingredients are just as nutritious as they are delicious, and how to prepare them.

Registration is required and open to those with a Rochester Hills Public library card. To register, go to http://calendar.rhpl.org or call 248-656-2900. The Rochester Hills Public Library is located in downtown Rochester two blocks east of Main Street off of University Drive on Olde Towne Road. For more information, please call 248-650-7124.
