Antique Appraisal Day 2013

There is no need to wait for the Antiques Roadshow to come to Detroit in June. Bring your family heirlooms and treasures to the Rochester-Avon Historical Society’s Antique Appraisal Day on Sunday, March 3 from noon until 4 p.m. at the Rochester Community House and have them professionally appraised.

There will be 10 appraisers who have offered to donate their time and expertise in books, manuscripts, coins, clocks, glass, pottery, china, lighting, furniture, guns, military items, teddy bears, dolls, jewelry, Asian art, antique weapons, engravings, needlepoint, paintings, prints, Native American art (available until 2 p.m.) and more. With all of that expertise, you’re sure to discover important information about your antique treasures and collectibles.

All items are appraised at fair market value. For larger items, simply bring photographs that show the piece you want appraised and any of the item's detail that may be helpful to the appraiser.
