Will Ewe Never Mind the Construction and See the Flock Downtown?

The Ewe Revue 2, a public art project designed to bring people to downtown Rochester, had its red carpet premiere on Saturday.

Surely ewe have heard the news. There are more than two dozen colorful and creative fiberglass sheep on display around downtown Rochester as part of the Ewe Revue 2.

It's a public art project created to bring people out and about around town despite the bulldozers and backhoes tearing up the main thoroughfare through downtown.

On Saturday, the sheep were officially unveiled to the public. Golf carts took visitors on a tour to see the sheep, and children were able to paint their handprints on two special artsy sheep.

From the ruby red slippers of the ewe dressed as Dorothy to the oversized diamond nose ring on the Marilyn Monroe-inspired ewe, the artistic details are plenty.

We photographed some of the sheep around town (thanks, Colin, for the tour!). If you got out to see the sheep, add your own photos here.
