Weekend Planner: Play Pinball, Hunt for Eggs, Stroll Galleries

Here's a look at what's going on around Rochester this weekend.

For Everyone:
Where: (at The Oakland Center)
When: Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 8 a.m.-midnight.  Sunday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Why go: There will be more than 150 pinball machines at this expo, all set to free play. Get your fingers warmed up — you may be there a while. There is also a tournament with prizes for you competitive types.
Pricing: Adults 16 and up: pre-sale, $12.50; door, $15. Show pass pre-sale (all four days) $50; door $60. OU students and staff: pre-sale $10; door $12; OU show pass pre-sale $25; door $40. Kids 4-15: pre-sale $7.50; door $10. Show pass pre-sale $30, door $40. Kids under 4: free.

For a Girls Night Out:
Where:
When: Friday, 6-9 p.m.
Why go: You and your girls can get a night of pampering that will include wine, music, massage, eyebrow waxing and makeup application.  There will also be shopping (Jewel Kade and Stella and Dot). The evening will benefit the Women's Fund Charity.
Pricing: Free  

For Date Night:
Where: Downtown Rochester
When: Friday, 6-9 p.m.
Why go: Here is how it works: you pick up a Gallery Stroll Card at any of the nine participating galleries and have it punched at each gallery that you visit. If your card is punched by every gallery, you can send it in for a drawing of a Downtown Rochester gift certificate.

For Families:
Where:
When: Saturday, 3:30-5 p.m.
Why go: The Easter Bunny will be at the park to assist with face-painting, crafts, games and snacks.  There will also be an egg hunt.  Please bring non-perishable food items and/or gently used summer clothing to benefit the Rochester Neighborhood House and God's Helping Hands.

For Free:
Where:
When: Sunday, 1-4 p.m.
Why go: If you are like us, you want your Easter meal to be special and delish. Whole Foods will have a tasting of all of their Easter eats available so you can get ideas on what to put on your table.  The best part: all of the dishes are free of artificial preservatives, colors, flavors, sweeteners and hydrogenated fats. (You can still eat your Peeps — we won't tell.)
