Weekend Planner: Art Show, Family Fun Day and a Piano Recital

It's Thursday and you've got no idea what you're doing this weekend. Fear not, Patch is coming to the rescue.

Why go: Anastasia Rizikov, a Canadian-born piano whiz, has been playing since the age of five and has won several prestigious music competitions worldwide.
Pricing: Tickets are $10, children under 12 are free. Tickets available at the door.

For Girls Night Out:

When: Friday, 6-9 p.m.
Why go: Are you looking for a little bit of pampering with your lady friends? The ladies from New Gals on the Block would like to take care of you for a few hours. There will be mini-makeovers, hors d'oeuvres, champagne and more.

Why go: Artist Andrew Wu was a professional violinist before becoming a glass artist. Check out how his musical experiences and his love of water inspired him to create his artistic glass pieces.

Why go: Oakland University is hosting their 6th Annual Family Fun Day for Autism Awareness Month. There will be arts and crafts, a bounce house, swimming and a sensory room. There will also be several booths with educational materials about Autism.
