Weekend Countdown: Santa Arrives, Lights On at Village of Rochester Hills

The annual Village lighting event is at 7 p.m. Friday.

The week is just starting, but we like to give you plenty of time and options to get your weekend planning done.

Cost: Free
Why go: The Village of Rochester Hills will shine with lights, and several special guests will be on hand to help celebrate. Of course, Santa will be there. So will Rochester Hills Mayor Bryan Barnett, along with Radio Disney and holiday carolers from Meadow Brook Hall. Santa's arrival will mark the start of his stay in the gazebo at The Village.
