Wear Your Favorite (Ugly) Christmas Sweater To This 5K
It's happening Saturday in Rochester Hills.
If you have what is affectionately known as an Ugly Christmas Sweater, you'll want to see if it matches your running shoes.
On Saturday morning, the Moosejaw store at the Village of Rochester Hills is hosting a first-ever "Ugly Sweater Fun Run." It's a 5K event that begins at the store and winds through Oakland University. Store staff will lead the run.
According to a posting on the store's web site, a grand prize will be awarded to "the person with the ugliest sweater." A free pair of gloves will be given to every runner, and healthy snacks and drinks will be provided after the run.

The race begins at 9 a.m.
You don't need an ugly sweater to participate — but it would make the run all the more festive.
