Voter Turnout in Rochester, Rochester Hills

On Tuesday, 46,749 voters in Rochester and Rochester Hills went to the polls (or had their absentee ballots counted). 

The voter turnout rate in the two cities was higher than the Oakland County rate for the Nov. 6 election.

• In Rochester, voter turnout was 71.53%. The highest voter turnout rate was in precinct 4 (78.87%). The lowest voter turnout rate was precinct 1 (66.51%)
• In Rochester Hills, voter turnout was 74.63%. The highest voter turnout rate was in precinct 19 (82.86%). The lowest voter turnout rate was precinct 15 (52.25%). 
• In Oakland County, voter turnout was 71.29%. Overall Michigan voter turnout numbers were still undetermined on Wednesday morning.

In Rochester, 1,858 absentee ballots were turned in; in Rochester Hills, 12,489 were returned.
