Thunderstorms Likely Starting Today and Most of the Week

Weather forecast calls for chance of rain and storms every day through Thursday.

Forecasts for the Rochester area call for showers and thunderstorms starting Monday afternoon and continuing through Thursday.

According to a "Hazardous Weather Outlook" from the National Weather Service, there is a chance for severe weather Monday night that could include hail, damaging winds and heavy rainfall.

"Thunderstorms will continue to be possible Tuesday through Wednesday night in association with a slow-moving low pressure system," the statement said.

Rain and thunderstorms are possible Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The week's high temperature is predicted to be 85 degrees on Tuesday; the week's low is predicted to be 58 on Friday and Saturday nights.
