Summer, Day 69: Organize a Bike Parade
Rochester Patch is giving you something to do today and every day of summer.
There are 94 days of summer, from June 21-Sept. 22. Along the way, Rochester Patch will offer something unique to do every day.
Day 69: Plan a bike parade
There's already a bike parade of sorts happening around town today (a "Children's Day Rally" invites motorcyclists to caravan through the city to help support Ronald McDonald House).
So that gives us an idea: a neighborhood bike parade, where your kids invite their friends to decorate their bikes, strap on their helmets and ride — under adult supervision — in a predetermined route around the neighborhood.

Added touch: Have kids draw a map to help plan. You can even award prizes for the best decorated bike.
