Rochester Mom Wants Teens to Know 'Sex Has a Price Tag'

Suzette Costew was sitting in a Wal-Mart parking lot listening to the radio when she first heard Pam Stenzel speak about teens and sex.

That's when Costew first thought: I need to bring this message to Rochester.

Tonight at , Costew's idea will become a reality. Stenzel is a speaker known around the world for her straightforward message about abstinence to teens and will present her "Sex Has a Price Tag" talk at 7 tonight.

The event is free and no registration is required; it is intended for ages 13 and up — with or without parents.

Costew is a mom of an 11-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy.

"I heard her message and my heart felt very gripped," Costew said. "The way she came across, she's charismatic; she tells it exactly like it is."

Costew approached 28 different churches around the community to support Stenzel's visit.

"The timing is perfect; prom is a week away, and even if kids have heard this before, they need to hear it again," Costew said.
