Tonight: Rochester Authors the Stars Of Their Own Book Discussion

Michael and Gina Spehn will discuss their bestselling book, 'The Color of Rain,' on Thursday.

Michael and Gina Spehn, the Rochester couple whose bestselling book The Color of Rain tells of their families coming together after loss, will sign copies of their book and lead a discussion during a special event Thursday night.

Rochester Patch first told you the story of the Spehns earlier this year: (Read ). Michael and Gina each lost a spouse to cancer and then met, married and blended their families (they have five children between them). 

The book was first published in 2011 and then printed in paperback earlier this year. It is a New York Times bestseller. They started the New Day Foundation for Families to help young families facing cancer.

The book signing and discussion will be held Thursday, Jan. 17 at Barnes & Noble in Rochester Hills. The signing will be from 6-7 p.m. and the discussion will be from 7-9:30 p.m.

The book is available at Barnes & Noble now and will be available for purchase on the night of the event.
