Road Work This Week: I-75/M-59 Ramps Gradually Reopening

M-59 Update

Various resurfacing projects are ongoing along M-59 in Rochester Hills this summer.

What's new this week:

  • The eastbound M-59 ramp to northbound I-75 is open.
  • Southbound I-75 ramp to westbound M-59 is set to reopen at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
  • The Squirrel Road ramp to westbound M-59 is set to close at 6 a.m. Tuesday and reopen at 6 p.m. July 23.

What's ongoing:

  • The westbound M-59 ramp to northbound I-75 is closed; it will reopen at 4 p.m. July 18.
  • The westbound M-59 ramp to southbound I-75 will remain closed until July 22.
  • One lane of both eastbound and westbound M-59 from Crooks to Opdyke will remain closed until Nov. 30.
Parkdale Bridge 

Work continues on the Parkdale Road bridge over Stoney Creek. The road is closed at the bridge, which is between Letica and Dequindre; through traffic is not allowed. It will reopen Oct. 1.

Crooks Road

The bridge over M-59 and the interchange are being rebuilt; that work is ongoing through November.

Walton Boulevard Resurfacing

One lane of traffic will be closed in each direction from east of Adams Road to the Rochester city limit. The project will continue through Aug. 12.
