Road Work This Week: Crooks Ramp to M-59 Set to Reopen

The bridge over M-59 and the interchange are being rebuilt; that work is ongoing through November.

Opening this week: The ramp from Crooks Road to eastbound M-59 is expected to open again Sunday.

Various resurfacing projects are ongoing along M-59 in Rochester Hills this summer.

Closing this week: The northbound I-75 ramp to westbound M-59 is expected to close at 6 a.m. Wednesday; it will be closed until June 29. The recommended detour route is M-59 eastbound to Squirrel Road, then M-59 westbound.

Opening this week: The southbound I-75 ramp to eastbound M-59 is expected to open again Wednesday.

• The eastbound M-59 ramp to northbound I-75 will remain closed until July 12.
• The westbound M-59 ramp to southbound I-75 will remain closed until July 15.
• One lane of both eastbound and westbound M-59 from Crooks to Opdyke will remain closed until Nov. 30.

Work has begun on the Parkdale Road bridge over Stoney Creek. The road is closed at the bridge, which is between Letica and Dequindre; through traffic is not allowed. It will reopen Sept. 1.

One lane of traffic will be closed in each direction from east of Adams Road to the Rochester city limit. The project will continue through Aug. 12.

Work is not expected to begin until next month on Adams Road between South and Auburn roads, but a public meeting about the project is planned for
