Public Hearing Tonight on Proposed Rochester City Budget

City Council will also consider resolution to encourage Rochester Community Schools to rename an elementary school after Adam Malson.

Rochester City Council will hear public comment tonight on the proposed 2012 city budget.

The public hearing will follow a presentation on the proposed budget, which is $20,829,977 — 0.3 percent higher than the 2011 budget. The full budget, along with analysis, is available to be downloaded on the city website. It is set to be adopted at the May 9 City Council meeting.
